Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Statement Reviews (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Statement Reviews.

The beta

Statement Reviews is in beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may limit or end access, including to Premium.

What Statement Reviews does — and doesn't

Statement Reviews helps you review charges by reading your statements or syncing your bank, and showing each charge on a map. Extracted details, categories and locations are produced automatically and can be wrong, so always check them against your statement. We don't contact your bank or card issuer for you — the dispute helper only gives you their contact details. Nothing in Statement Reviews is financial, legal or tax advice.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and in the United States to use Statement Reviews. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Only upload statements and connect accounts you're authorized to access.

Plans and billing

• Basic and Premium are monthly subscriptions, billed by Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe. They renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• Basic may include a free trial, as described when you sign up. A card is required; if you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you'll be charged. Premium is charged from the day you subscribe.
• You can cancel anytime from Manage subscription in your profile. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. When Premium ends, we disconnect your banks.
• Payments aren't refundable, except where the law requires. If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us within 30 days.
• We'll tell you before a price change takes effect. During the beta we may offer plans free of charge.

Bank connections

Premium connects to your bank through Plaid. By connecting a bank, you authorize us and Plaid to access your account information and transactions to provide the service, and you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). You can disconnect a bank anytime from your profile.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Statement Reviews: don't upload content you don't have the right to use, try to access other people's data, interfere with or overload the service, or reverse engineer or scrape it.

Your data

Your statements and transactions are yours. You let us process them only to provide Statement Reviews, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Ending your use

You can stop using Statement Reviews and ask us to delete your account anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Disclaimers

Statement Reviews is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost money or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before a material change takes effect. If you keep using Statement Reviews after that, the new terms apply.
